The Heart Behind
The Outpour Therapy
The Story:
In the ancient story from 2 Kings, a widow finds herself at a breaking point. Drowning in debt, she watches as creditors arrive at her door, demanding her children as payment. When asked what she has left to settle her debt, her answer is a whisper of defeat:
"I have nothing at all," she said, "except a small jar of olive oil."
She felt her entire worth was as small as that one tiny jar surviving on the edge of collapse and defined only by what she owed to everyone else.
The Shift: The Miracle in the Pouring
The turning point wasn’t an outside fortune it was her act of faith. She gathered empty vessels and began to pour her "small" amount of oil into each one. Miraculously, the oil kept flowing. It didn’t stop until every vessel was full.
She discovered that what she already carried was enough to change her life
She just needed the right containers to hold it… and the faith to trust in it.
Why This Matters for You
As an LMFT, I see this story playing out every day in the lives of teen girls and women.
The “Nothing At All” – You’ve poured yourself into school, work, family, or social roles until you feel hollowed out
The “Small” Self – You measure your worth by what you give, and because you’re exhausted, it feels like you’re never enough.
The “Creditors” – For teens, it’s the pressure of social perfection. For women, it’s the relentless mental load of trying to be everything to everyone else.
Our Work Together: Building the Vessels
Together, we build the boundaries, skills, and core identity that become the containers allowing your true self to pour out without running dry.
Stop the Leak: Identify the anxieties and performance traps draining you.
Find the Vessel: Build the skills and boundaries needed to hold your worth.
Reclaim the Source: Rediscover your value, rebuild self-trust, and cultivate self-love.
The miracle is realizing you have been created with purpose and with enough to fill every space of your life.
The Identity Cycle
I specialize in helping women and teen girls reclaim their confidence, identity, and sense of self
For the Teen Girl:
We help you build Core Confidence that isn’t about trying to fit in it’s about shining on your own terms. Together, we find your steady, authentic voice so you can handle life, school, friendships, and social pressure without losing yourself or feeling like you have to please everyone.
For the Depleted Woman:
We pay off the emotional debts you’ve carried for everyone else. Through this work, you move from giving from your last drop to living from the overflow reclaiming a self that is grounded in your unique strengths, nourished by self-compassion, and ready to engage with life fully.
I use a blend of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Narrative Therapy and support women in rebuilding confidence and self-trust.
ACT
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based practice, meaning research. ACT helps you accept difficult thoughts and emotions, clarify your personal values, and take meaningful action toward living a life that feels authentic and aligned with what truly matters to you.
CBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based practice, meaning it is supported by research. CBT helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, and teaches practical skills to challenge unhelpful thoughts, change patterns that no longer serve you, and respond to life’s challenges more effectively.
Narrative Therapy
Narrative therapy focuses on how people make meaning of their experiences through the stories they tell about themselves and their lives. It involves examining these narratives, identifying unhelpful patterns, and creating more balanced and intentional ways of understanding one’s identity.
